KANBA at present makes custom messenger bags, backpacks, wallets, and day bags with the intention of expanding their repertoire. Their strengths lie in the durability of their product, the originality of the pieces, and the unique color schemes. We created an integrated branding system including the logo, paper, and digital assets.
We used the roman alphabet for the logo, so that the brand had flexibility to expand abroad. The design represents the fluid flow of thread going through different elements to make a piece come together. The strong line weight reflects on the durability of each Kanba piece, and the uniqueness is brought out by the additional red thread patterns that go over the logo, making 8 unique different marks. 

The business card uses the 8 unique logos that use the different red thread patterns. Raised spot gloss makes the red lines stand out and look pretty.

This scalable website features info on the brand, a custom order platform, and links up to the blog and shop. 

To increase views from all over the world, we set up an instagram with a set of hashtags and scheduling assitance to keep the uploads going. The photography was also used on a blog set up on Tumblr.
